We are looking for someone who loves animals, enjoys being part of a team and is looking for a fun, close knit group to work with.
Klondike Canine Academy & Dog Park (the behavior and training branch of Blair Animal Clinic & Klondike Kennels) is hiring for the position of Lead Dog Daycare & Playgroup Monitor. This person will help coordinate/lead daycare and playgroups, complete evaluations on new dogs, and monitor the off-leash Canine Playgroup sessions which take place in our Dog Park and/or our Daycare setting.
Dog Daycare & Playgroup Monitors should have previous animal handling experience such as; dog walking, dog daycare, pet sitting, kennel/veterinary animal care attendant, or humane society. Knowledge of canine behavior, customer relations, and basic computer skills are also required.
Dog Daycare & Playgroup Monitors should enjoy working outdoors in most weather conditions and be able to walk dogs greater than 50 lbs, handling a variety of breeds and sizes, and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
