Lead Pickleball Instructor – Part Time

Lifetime Activities is looking for a part-time Lead Pickleball Coach for its San Francisco location at the Goldman Tennis Center in Golden Gate Park (50 Bowling Green Drive.)

The ideal candidate loves pickleball, has an engaging personality, and enjoys helping and interacting with participants of all ages, backgrounds, and athletic abilities. A very positive and team-focused attitude is essential! Previous instructional leadership experience in group environments is required.

Skills, Qualities and Experience:

• A fun, friendly, and welcoming attitude that students respond to is a must
• Strong ability to communicate effectively to participants (visually/verbally/kinesthetically)
• Passion for the game of pickleball
• Strong playing ability (4.0+ rating)
• Previous experience leading group instruction and group-play events
• Pickleball certification is preferred, but not required for the right applicant
• Patience when dealing with students that are new to the activity
• Ability to develop fun/creative and educational lesson plans while adhering to safety guidelines
• A strong work ethic that includes positivity, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
• Ability to manage the entire group/space while delegating tasks to assistant staff
• Willingness to help mentor/guide/develop assistant staff when needed
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check
• Must be USTA Safe Play-certified (within 2 weeks of hire)
• Willingness to follow all current COVID-19 protocols is required

Schedule and Pay:

• Availability to coach the majority of the following timeframes is required:

• Mondays + Tuesdays: 4-7pm
• Wednesdays: 5-7pm
• Fridays: 4:15-7:30pm
• Saturdays: 12-4pm
• Sundays: 9am-1pm

• Pay $26-$32/hr depending on skill, experience, and availability
