Baldwin Academy is looking for experienced and energetic teachers to join our team. The candidates would be responsible for the development and implementation of weekly lesson plans, provide care for the children’s daily needs, implement best practices and maintain a clean and safe environment and also communicate to the parents/guardians all progress and feedback as required.
Requirements:
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification/ FCCPC (Preferred)
- Has completed 45 hours of DCF minimum requirements or is in the process of completing them.
- Background clearance (required before first day of employment)
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and supervise the program for the class consistent with the centers policies, philosophy and curriculum
- Keep the classroom in compliance with all Florida regulations
- Maintain required documentation as required
- Gear program to the needs of individual children in concern for their interests, special needs and talents and pace of learning.
- Teach proper health care in regards to toileting, nutrition, dental, physical care and cleaning of the children if necessary
- Maintain the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor and learning environment of the classroom
- Communicate with parents regarding information concerning their child and their daily activities of the center and inform the director of any parent concerns
- Attend staff meetings, trainings and conferences

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
