Hours: This position is full-time and year round; new teachers start with a schedule of 9:00a - 6:00p but may get earlier hours over time.

Qualifications:

Personality -- Positive, patient, flexible, hard-working, energetic, loves spending time with young children (0-5 years)

Education – all candidates must have *one* of the following:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) or current enrollment in a CDA program
• At least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education AND current enrollment in a degree program
• Associate's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree

All candidates must also have the following:

• Experience working with young children; school-setting experience is preferred
• Fluency in English, to permit effective communication with staff and parents
• Comfort using tablet technology (iPads etc)

We are hiring a LEAD teacher for our preschool (3s) classroom. All teachers work with a partner teacher to care for and teach a group of children, working as a team. Together both teachers implement lesson plans, and manage the students as they learn, eat, sleep, and play. Teachers are responsible for keeping their classroom organized and clean, and communicating with parents.
