Storm Search has Direct Hire Opportunities in Akron, Ohio. We are now hiring for 3rd Shift Sanitation Workers.
Pay rates between $15.00-$17.00/hour.
3rd Shift: 6:00pm-4:00am.
2 years of Manufacturing Sanitation experience required.
Job Duties: To clean and sanitize effectively and efficiently by cleaning production equipment, machines, and work areas to prepare for production each day; meeting both Company standards and statutory regulations for company public food safety standards. Disassemble equipment to properly clean and sanitize following food safety guidelines and regulations. Clean all food and non-food contact surfaces throughout the plant to comply with the requirements of the Food Safety and Inspection Service. Clean and sanitize food production equipment in the facility and utilize pressure washer and cleaning chemicals to sanitize equipment. Wash and sanitize all assigned production equipment, thoroughly and carefully. Engage in the collection of solid waste/recyclable materials. Collect and dump refuse or recyclable materials from containers into warehouse dumpster. Collect recyclable materials and deliver it to its designated facility. Read chemical labels or Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to properly handle chemicals. Handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, preparing sanitizers, preparing chemical concentrations, handling and storing the chemicals, and managing chemical accidents. Incorporating special or rotational cleaning duties into their daily schedules, for specialized cleaning or sanitation processes that might not occur every day. Complete daily sanitation forms. Understand and follow all SSOP’s (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and inspection regulations. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors or management.
