Leasing and Sales Trainer

$60,000-$70,000/annually.

Location: Wayne, PA

Type: Full Time

Minimum Experience: Three years property management experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

We are hiring a Leasing and Sales Trainer for Berger Communities. Travel areas will include Pittsburgh, King of Prussia, State College, Wilmington, Frederick and more.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Leasing and Sales Trainer your responsibilities will include:

  • Supports on-site teams in training needs.
  • Provides new hire training for on-site leasing team members.
  • Delivers high quality trainings to align with company goals and initiatives.
  • Creates training content and delivers it using a variety of tools such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, and in person training.
  • Review mystery shop reports and provide necessary training based on the individual results.
  • Notify team members of upcoming apartment association, vendor, and other industry training opportunities and complete their registrations.
  • Monitor and support the company LMS.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on company systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor effectiveness of training and develop solutions if needed.
  • Ability to communicate clear, strategic sales vision, effectively training and coaching seasoned and new leasing team members.


About You

You might be a great fit for this role if you have:

    • Experience with property management software (Entrata experience preferred) and learning management systems.
    • Sales experience in prospecting, customer relationship management, and selling strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and conduct public presentations for a variety of audience sizes.
    • Well-developed coaching and collaboration skills.
    • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal reasoning/ communication skills
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
    • Be dependable, reliable and follow through on commitments.
    • Be attentive to detail and monitor adherence to company standards and policies.
    • Positive, “can-do" attitude, professionalism, and a high level of enthusiasm
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
    • Passion for continuous learning
