Our community needs to fill an immediate opening for a blended skill set in the position of Leasing Agent with great sales skills. We operate a 400-unit property in an excellent location of which, half of our product is in development. We are producing a new asset type which you will be required to start in a 2-day boot camp to learn the product and our culture. This leasing sales agent will have a strong sales background and closing performance base. You will become the public face of our property and the key liaison between the management office, current and prospective residents. This position requires a friendly, outgoing individual who has previous sales experience / high production in closing leasing skills that can offer competent service to our prospects and residents. This person must utilize a team environment from which leads can be followed up with in your absence. We are developing a new asset type which will require a Leasing Sales Agent to be creative, self-motivated, relationship driven with a primary focus on driving leads and closing deals. We have excellent benefits, escalated commissions based on performance and an opportunity for travel to our upcoming developments offering a very lucrative commission opportunity.
Specific Skills to include but not limited to:
· Source, produce and capture a contact sheet with prospective residents.
· Relationship building with all contact sheet prospective residents and team members.
· Log all follow up with leads, monitor all progress with leads until close and close deals as quickly as possible.
· Ability to discern true target markets, communicate changes to marketing and manage sates efforts accordingly.
· Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
· Shop and stay up to date on competitive properties and market trends. A weekly survey will be required as well as weekly visits to said competition for accuracy on reporting.
· Guerilla marketing to local businesses including local trending hot spots with relationship building for prospecting and resident functions.
· Quality control on your vacant to lease inventory making sure they are move in ready, coordinating needs with the manager. This to include tour route appeal and functionality.
· Must sell to the asset type strengths as trained in bootcamp, not to deviate from script as it pertains to quality and functions of the new asset type.
· Emphasis on product knowledge, delivering answers to consumer issues and questions, negotiation skills with a highlight in persuasion skills.
· Collaborating with resources and colleagues for top industry information
· Attend all local market functions after hours, which provide industry and local market information that pertain to gathering contacts for your prospect lead database.
Minimum Experience Required
· High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred).
· 3+ years' experience in leasing, hospitality, or sales background.
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills / persuasion skills.
· Ability to multitask during busy periods.
· Strong knowledge of the real estate industry.
