Job Description:
The Senior Legal Counsel will contribute to the delivery of the business, by working with the management at a senior level through active engagement in legal matters.

Your life at Atos :
Take a primary role in contract structuring, drafting and negotiation of complex IT outsourcing agreements, teaming agreements, software licenses etc;

Take a primary role in managing North American corporate governance and litigation including document review, strategy and managing outside counsel and expenses

To contribute pro-actively to ensure that the activities of Atos comply with applicable laws and to ensure that company business strategies, policies and programs are applied.

Assist in managing third party claims.

Act as an active team member and independent legal adviser in pushing projects forward and resolving difficulties.

Act in cooperation with the Atos Group Legal and Compliance Department and other special teams and central functions of the Atos Group.

Minimum requirements:
J.D. degree from a top tier law school

Excellent working knowledge of contract law and litigation

7-10 years’ work experience gained as in-house counsel in a Fortune 100 IT Company or in a global or national law firm.

Preferred Qualifications:
Solid experience of the IT and BPO businesses and strong ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.

Excellent legal drafting and communication skills;

Strong leadership, commercial acumen, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
