*Role Summary*

THIS IS AN IN OFFICE POSITION ONLY FOR OUR HUNTSVILLE, AL LOCATION.

We are seeking an Alabama Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or other Alabama Licensed Professional (LMFT or LICSW, PIP) to join our private practice. Experience working with both children and adults is a plus. As a clinician, you will have the opportunity to perform many types of therapy. Your position will be titled as an independent contractor. Billing, appointment scheduling, administrative support, and electronic medical record is included within the role.

Looking for someone at least 25 hours a week. No limit to the maximum hours a week you may work.

Candidates must have a current mental health license in Alabama and able to pass a criminal background check.

*Responsibilities include: *

-Providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

- Must have and maintain current professional liability insurance.

- Must be currently credentialed as a participating provider by applicable health insurance companies, primarily BCBS through New Directions (Now Lucet) and American Behavioral so that only a new location form can be completed. Will complete all credentialing information through CAQH.

-Maintain clinical progress notes through HIPAA compliant EMR.

-Collaborate with clinical director regarding care coordination and referrals (as needed).

*The practice will provide: *

- Direct deposit (every 2 weeks).

- Administrative support, including Initial screening and scheduling of clients.

- Billing and coordination with health insurance companies.

- Furnished office space.

- Access and usage to a HIPAA compliant electronic medical record.

- Advertising to assist in caseload growth.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $74.00 per hour
