80 hours/pay period
7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Every Third Saturday rotation
Lead Group Activities to fulfill the interests and needs of our residents
Lead sensory stimulation for small groups
Lead one-on-one visits to fulfill the needs and interests of residents
Documents resident attendance and be mindful of notable changes in residents' health/behavior

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge or experience with sensory stimulation recreational therapy, music, and/or creative activities with the geriatric population. Must be compassionate, a hard worker, be willing to work independently, and able to communicate with the geriatric population. Strong communication skills, and a warm, sincere interest in the geriatric population and knowledge of their needs for activity, organizational ability, manual dexterity and flexibility required, as well as basic computer skills.
