Job description

We are looking for experienced lifeguards who are certified. If not certified, or for 1st year lifeguards, we can set up a weekend certification course here at club with 1/2 paid by Glen Flora. Lifeguards may have the opportunity to provide swim lessons and earn more income.

Duties:

o Provide a safe environment in the pool and on the pool deck.

o Oversee swimming pool and behavior in the pool area.

o Manage and test the quality of pool water & proper chemistry.

o Oversee checklists to make sure cleaning of pool, locker rooms and pool deck.

o Provide the proper registration of members/guests and towels.

o Provide swim lessons.

o Coordinate and assist camp counselors in operation of a small summer camp.

o Provide excellent member service and create a culture within the staff to provide a high level of service.

o Provide proper amenities such as availability of clean towels, pool furniture and shade features.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Experience:

• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Lifeguard Training Certification (Preferred)
