Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand the needs of laboratory operations.
- Design, develop, and implement LIMS solutions that meet the specific requirements of the organization.
- Customize and configure the LIMS software to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or errors.
- Integrate LIMS with other laboratory systems, instruments, and databases for seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system diagrams.
- Provide support and training to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing the LIMS software effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in LIMS technology and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a LIMS Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, along with experience in database design and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms such as LabWare, Thermo Fisher Scientific SampleManager, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of laboratory regulations and compliance standards, such as GLP, GMP, or ISO 17025.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $59,557.05 - $146,081.93 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
