The Leaning Pear, an award winning destination restaurant located in idyllic Wimberley, TX, is seeking a qualified Line Cook to join our hard working crew. Experience in a high volume establishment is a plus. No egos or bad attitudes. Must be able to work quickly, cleanly and possess good organizational skills. We are looking for candidates that show leadership potential, creativity and the ability to communicate well with others. Other desirable attributes and qualifications:

- Wood Fired Oven experience
- Brunch/Egg Cookery experience
- Broad culinary knowledge combined with creativity that manifests itself into tasty daily specials and productive dialog/brainstorming with co-workers.
-Ability to produce in a fast paced environment.
-Ability to maintain grace under fire
-Knowledge of seasonality, artisanal food methods.

Compensation is very competitive and based on experience. Paid vacation available after 6 months as well as monthly cookbook/equipment allowance and daily tip-outs.

We are closed Monday & Tuesday but looking for someone who can work Wednesday-Sunday.
