Loan Ops - Commercial Verification Representative
Job description
- Verify commercial loans, renewals and lines of credit; submit maintenance forms when errors are detected
- Verify the accuracy of daily payments and maintenance information, and submit maintenance forms when errors are detected
- Verify the accuracy of floor plan transactions and submit maintenance forms when errors are detected
- Verify exceptions are written correctly for missing documents, incorrect documents and recorded documents
- Use Synergy daily to print reports needed for verification processes
- Refer major loan violations to the supervisor for review
- Cooperates with employees within the department and other departments to provide quality service, solve problems and achieve goals across the bank
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
- Provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Loan Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree in business or equivalent in work experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail as well as proven organizational and analytical skills
- Able to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
- Must have strong PC skills including Excel, Work and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humilty
- Ideal candidate will have two (2) years of banking experience with emphasis on Loan Operations or minimum of two (2) years office experience
