Job description
U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking an Locksmith/Carpenter. The position will be responsible for the operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of standard lock systems and standard hardware; Maintains and operates the Lock Shop; maintains and uses a key making machine, software, key blanks, key cylinders and miscellaneous parts; Receives and responds to service calls; takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns; oversees routine and preventive maintenance programs; Will interact with carpenters to provide complete services; May be assigned additional duties
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- Completion of training as a Locksmith
- Familiarity with large building systems and knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Must have the ability to make keys and maintain software systems
- Valid vehicle operator’s license
Other: All candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire.
