Riedel Communications is looking for a full-time Warehouse / Logistics Operator in our Logistics Department. This is an on-site position based out of our Santa Clarita, CA office. It reports to the Sales Operations Manager and will require availability weekdays and for compensated on-call and/or overtime service when requested.

You will help facilitate communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

• Interest in, and aptitude to learn, audio engineering and/or video networking skills is a strong plus
• Technical and business aptitude is a plus
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Experience in, or the ability to quickly learn, business enterprise software systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Attention to detail
• Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality
• Full proficiency in English, spoken and written
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required
• Basic administration skills

• On-the-job training on building digital intercom matrix systems
• Install software licenses and firmware on intercom panels, frames, and antennas
• Assemble and organize equipment exhibits for broadcast and production trade shows and demos
• Packaging products for safe and secure transport to the recipient
• Organizing, loading, and unloading inventory in the warehouse
• Facilitate communication between sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy, efficient supply chain
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Help facilitate communication between sales, distribution, and customers
• Performing inventory counts
• Liaise with clients to provide information, service and support related to the role
• Liaise with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Ensuring that distribution and shipment deadlines are met
• Following existing processes and procedures
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Replying to vendors and customers’ requests in a timely manner
• Keep up to date with product information
• Follow all company policies and procedures
