Logistics Coordinator, starting pay at $17.00
Job Summary:
The title for this position will be Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be a key member of the Warehouse and Operations team and will own the primary responsibility for preparing the Sales Order Pick Lists, scheduling inbound/outbound shipments, processing shipment documentations, updating sales records in our software, interacting with internal Customer Service, supporting special packaging, printing customer production labels as necessary, and administering random cycle counts. Additionally, this position will have a responsibility to assist with warehouse duties and ensure overall inventory accuracy.
Scope of Responsibilities & Duties:
The Logistics Coordinator must be a self-motivated, action-oriented executor, ensuring on time shipments (inbound/outbound). Communication, negotiation, data management and analytical skills are key for this position. Communication is critical due to the amount of involved parties (internal & external). Additionally the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for meeting their Minimum Job Requirements.
- Sources freight carriers through inbound and outbound LTL shipments
- Coordinates and schedules pick-ups and drop-offs with freight carriers
- Communicates changes/updates to Customer Service, Logistics, and Customer Arranged Carriers
- Ensures that all deliveries are closed by the end of the month
Warehouse Function:
Assist with regular inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
