Role Overview
The Project Coordinator, Logistics under the direction of the National Manager, Domestic & International Logistics, will be responsible for managing and coordinating approval deck preparation of all transportation bids/contracts and pricing agreements, as well as Project Management within the department.
The Coordinator will work with department managers to develop proposal PowerPoint decks for review with Executive management and MOBIS KR SCM for transportation cost approvals within a defined timeframe and in accordance with company policies. This position will be responsible for contract drafts between carriers, obtaining general legal counsel agreements, and successfully obtaining internal executive approvals. In addition, the Coordinator will be responsible for managing all department business-plan initiatives by tracking all tasks using Smartsheets and conducting regular meetings to assure projects are launched on time. As a highly motivated and passionate individual, the Coordinator will focus on multi-department deliverables, tracking tasks and follow up progress to ensure achievement of division objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple key projects and business cases at the same time within the department in a fast-paced environment. Work with all appropriate department, inter-department personnel and management to ensure completeness of analysis, integrity in data, cost impact, and timely completion of tasks. Proactively set up meetings and track tasks/initiatives using Smart Sheets to keep projects and stakeholders on point and provide continual updates of activities, risks, opens issues, and project status. 25 %
- Formulate Strategic Analysis and Business Case/Project executive review documents that present the background of project, scope, data assessment, relevant benchmark information, recommendation and projected benefits. 25 %
- ·Coordinate and conduct RFQ data collection and business requirements for carrier bids and market study. Work with department managers and data analysts to compile bid requirements documentation and submit to SCM team in Korea as needed, as well as any supplemental data, as needed. 25 %
- Facilitate carrier contract drafts between internal and external personnel to ensure timely execution of new contracts and amendments. Manage internal approval process as well as circulate final draft to the appropriate executives for signatures. Maintain signed/executed contracts for document retention purposes. 15 %
- Support weekly/monthly executive reporting for internal and external meetings. Develop ad hoc slides for presentations, as needed. 10 %
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field required.
- Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
Experience
- Over 4 – 6 years’ experience in transportation business and appropriate interpersonal skills in inter-cultural relations.
- 2 – 4 years of Supply Chain experience in planning or analytical role.
- 2 – 4 years of Project Management working on complex and highly integrated development projects required
- 1 – 3 years of Supply Chain/ Automotive operations experience in Logistics, and/or PDC operations, contract negotiations preferred.
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills in identifying trends and root causes.
- Intermediate PC skills are required in word processing, excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint
- Ability to define problems, comprehend logistics strategies

Pay: $62,518.54 - $92,214.85 per year
