Project Specialist Responsibilities
*Position is contract with opportunity for direct hire
- Performs a variety of clerical duties relating to typing, filing and checking freight bills for accuracy.
- Utilizes company transportation management system to update carrier base, equipment, and rates.
- Answers calls from carriers, customers, truck drivers, Drilling Fluids Specialists, and warehouse personnel
- Dispatches jobs to appropriate Truck Driver for pick-up and delivery of loads of equipment
- Inventory reconciliation for warehouses
- Gives driving directions/routes to Truck Driver
- Maintains accurate logs and records of dispatches
- Assists billing with tickets, deliveries and returns.
- Provides customer service support
- Must be able to navigate customers' needs with a good attitude and must always represent the Company in a service-oriented and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Perform shift work (8-12 hours / day)
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization as well as vendors, professionals, customers, and industry
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Outlook
- Minimum 30 WPM typing ability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, i.e. weekends, holidays, after regular business hours.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen/physical.
- Self-motivated.
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
