LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse

Requirements for a Glenmere LPN:

• Graduation from a school of practical nursing.
• Current NYS LPN License

Responsibilities for a Glenmere LPN:

• Performs nursing care for Members following established policies and procedures under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse.
• May administer medications after having been oriented to the medication procedure of the Friendly Home.
• Recognizes and reports signs and symptoms observed in Members assigned to daily care; may record observations in the medical record after orientation to this procedure.
• Maintains adequate fluid intake of Members who are unable to hydrate themselves.
