A patient advocacy company in the LaCrosse County area is seeking a Care Advocate - Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to join their team. The Care Advocate is responsible for helping patients navigate and maximize their benefit plan.

This organization is known for assisting patients, employers and administrators cut costs through education, engagement and creative benefit plan designs. They work with over 150+ client organizations, have achieved 150k+ lives covered, 20% employee engagement and a 90% retention rate.

Responsibilities:

As the Care Advocate, you will be responsible for helping employees get the most value from their benefit plan

  • You will work closely with employees to act as their guide in helping understand their benefit plan
  • Identify the correct resources to resolve any issues
  • Act as their advocate to resolve issues on their behalf
  • Identify and communicate high value healthcare provider options within their benefit plan design
  • Facilitate the scheduling of any appointments if needed
  • Collaborate with other third party service providers to ensure the employee has received the requested information.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p or 9a-6p

  • 2 weeks’ of IN-PERSON training is provided

Salary & Benefits:

  • $40,000 to $50,000 annually ( $19-24/hour) + BONUSES!!

Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare benefits or clinical care and you enjoy assisting patients solves insurance or clinical care problems
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Excellent computer proficiency
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
