Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring 1st, 2nd, and weekend shift Machine Operator for one of our top manufacturing clients in the Coon Rapids, New Hope, Roseville, and Vadnais Heights areas to operate various machines for the production process. These positions are ASAP starts for qualified candidates, apply now for immediate consideration.
Machine Operator Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and packaging of parts produced.
- Operate and monitor a variety of machines as well as the quality of parts produced.
- Review work instructions prior to the start of any job and ensure they are followed.
- Meet required rates and parts per hour for job assigned to.
- Promote Operational Excellence and 6S initiatives by maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Support the QMS system by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations through proper documentation and record keeping.
- Follow all QS/ISO requirements for working in a cleanroom.
- Promote, support and participate in idea creation for new policies and procedure designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and facilitate greater utilization or labor and resources.
- Inspect product for defects per the quality control plan.
- Notify appropriate support staff as needed when issues arise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Must be able to read and interpret control plans, work instructions, work orders, safety materials, manuals and all other documents relevant to the position.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Supervisors, leads and other coworkers both verbally and written.
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including in units of measurement, using whole numbers and decimals.
Shift Hours Days Pay Rates
1st 5am-3:30pm Mon-Thu
2nd 3:30pm-2am Mon-Thu
Weekend 6am-6:30pm Fri-Sun
