Mapes & Sprowl powered by UPG is looking to fill a Machine Operator position in their Elk Grove Village location. Mapes & Sprowl is looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. There are opportunities for wage growth and career advancement. Any relevant steel experience is preferred, but not required. We strive to build strong relationships with our customers by providing high level of service, value-add opportunities and professionalism in all interactions, allowing us to become a valued member of their supply chain and production teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Run the machine, feed steel coils into machine
• Remove finished product and securely tie with wire
• Pack them in a pallet ready to be annealed if necessary
• Keep your area clean

• Experience in machine operating/understanding on how to operate machines
• Must be able to lift to and including 50 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
