We are seeking an experienced Machine Repair Technician to join our team at our Platteville, WI location. The Machine Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing of production equipment, forklifts, Tennant floor washers, building maintenance, and any related maintenance activities to support production requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of CNC and conventional machines to meet production requirements which include electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs and installations.
- Perform preventative maintenance of all production machines and equipment per the preventative maintenance schedule and procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on company owned forklift trucks and Tennant floor washers. Perform troubleshooting and all minor repairs as required.
- Perform building maintenance as required to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and miscellaneous maintenance.
- Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO14001).
- Follows all general safety rules, procedures and regulations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of machine repair experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift maintenance and repair experience.
- Preventative maintenance

- Fork truck maintenance and repair
- Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
- Mechanical skills and knowledge
- High school diploma
