This job is for a helper in a machine shop. A small family owned business. Candidate must be good with there hands and repetitive work. We will train them to operate CNC machines and various other equipment. We are a busy shop and a motivated person will be a huge asset. Hours are flexible but there is plenty of work for full time. Basic computer skills and being able to read a tape measure are important.
The person will be running a large cnc router and swapping 4x8 sheets of acrylic. When the parts come off in between cycles they will be doing secondary operations on the parts. After the jobs are ran they switch over to packaging the finished product. We also have CNC mills and lathes on which we run mostly aluminum. When larger jobs come in we need to check the parts and swap out material.
If the employee has a steady hand they will also be fabricating various products.
