Principal Maintainability Engineer
Onsite Location: York, PA 17408
US Citizenship & Residency Required
W2 Hourly Contract with limited benefits
$50 - $64.80 per hour DOE
Are you an experienced Maintainability Engineer in the York, PA area? Do you have expereince conducting maintainability allocations, reliability centered maintenance analysis and level of repair analysis? If you have expereince with Slicwave, Reliasoft, Opus even better!

Qualifications Required
- US Citizenship is required for this defense related role with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 8 years relevant experience; or a M.S. degree and 6 years relevant experience; or a Ph.D. with 3 years relevant experience.
- Expereince Identifying Line Replaceable Units/Modules or Shop Replaceable Units
- Expereince Calculating Maintenance Ratio, Mean Time To Repair and Max Time To Repair
- Expereince performing Level of Repair Analysis
- Experience performing maintenance task analysis
- Understand designs and can provide design influence
Preferred:
- Slicwave Experience
- Reliasoft Experience
- Opus Experience
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Identifies and defines Line Replaceable Units/Modules or Shop Replaceable Units for which analysis needs to be performed.
- Calculates Maintenance Ratio, Mean Time To Repair and Max Time To Repair.(Experience with SLICwave is desired.)
- Performs Level of Repair Analysis as required to determine the most cost-effective alternatives for performing maintenance tasks over the life of the end item or equipment. (Experience with Opus is desired.)
- Performs maintenance task analysis, defining maintenance task steps, equipment, tools, times and personnel requirements. (Experience with SLICwave is desired.)
- Recommends changes to designs based on analysis performed to improve the supportability and life cycle cost of the system.
- Performs technical analysis, calculations and evaluation of results to solve complex engineering problems by creating or using computer programs, models or simulations.
- Prepares and presents project technical results, recommendations and solutions to internal and external customers.
- Develops and writes technical documentation, makes revisions to existing documentation and provides input to technical papers or presentations
