About the Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC also operates 17 Group Homes which are six-bed community integrated homes serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We specialize in caring for residents with behavioral problems. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to perform routine maintenance and repair of the houses and equipment to include but not limited to plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and painting.
Essential Duties:
Inspect the homes on a regular basis to ensure that the grounds, house, furniture and vehicles are maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures and all hazardous areas are properly identified.
Assist in the implementation of effective preventative priority maintenance program of cleaning, painting, maintaining furniture, etc., as necessary/approved.
Ensure that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders according to budget.
Maintain a twenty-four (24) hour on-call availability.
Required Qualification:
Must be 21 years old or older and hold a valid Florida driver s license and capable of operating facility vehicle and maintaining a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of maintenance and general repair experience is preferred.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Hourly/ $20.00
