Job description

Job Qualifications:

· A high school diploma or a GED is required.

· Solid understanding of the fundamentals of maintenance tasks

· Proven experience in general maintenance.

· Capable of operating hand and power tools, as well as cleaning equipment, safely.

· Detail oriented

Essential Functions

· Learning the necessary skills to become a full-fledged maintenance tech.

· Assist maintenance technicians in installing, maintaining and repairing facility and production equipment

· Preparing work area for planned and preventive maintenance task

· Assist spare parts department with inventory task

· Support Production with cleaning of equipment

· Follow direction of shift leads

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

· Works production process environment

· This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.

· Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices

· Able to push/pull/move up to 50 pounds

· Able to ascend/descend stairs throughout the workday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
