Maintenance Lead

Perry Foam Products, Inc is a leading manufacturer of molded foam products, with multiple Fortune 500 customers. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to monitor and repair our production equipment.

Role Summary:

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for preventative maintenance and skilled repairs of mechanical production equipment and systems. This position is expected to follow standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and log preventative maintenance on production equipment and ancillary equipment
• Perform unscheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure continuation of production
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment for tools, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor pump levels, as needed
• Perform miscellaneous janitorial and handy work, as needed
• Be on call for emergencies during night shift, as needed
• Support other business units, as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong personal organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and inventory management principles
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Ability to goal set and reach goals timely
• Ability to identify and communicate issues
• Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills
• Satisfactory computer and Excel skills
