About us
Old Baldy was built in 1964 in the Platte Valley between the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains. It is a Destination Club, open June through September with approximately 170 Members. The Club’s signature activities are golf and fly fishing with the North Platte River flowing right below the Club’s property. The Club also has two full-service dining rooms, and a Members’ lounge, as well as a private room for catered events. In addition to 50 private Member homes, we have overnight accommodations available to our Members and their Guests including Lodge Suites and Cottages. Additional amenities include Fitness Center & Spa, Heated Swimming Pool, Beauty Salon, fully stocked Golf Shop and Tackle Shop. Golf Professionals and Fishing Guides are available to our Members all season. Membership is by invitation only.
We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep of the Club’s facilities. As a hands-on leader you will manage five-member team and ensure that your staff has the support, training, and resources to maintain and fulfill the necessary duties within budgetary guidelines.
We are seeking a professional individual with a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. You must be well-versed in all maintenance processes as well as health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, budgeting, etc. The goal is to ensure the Clubhouse, lodge, cottages, employee housing, and pool are ready to go prior to the start up of the season and well-maintained throughout the summer and fall. In the off-season, these areas are to be winterized, and upgraded as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Requirements
- Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role
- Experience in planning and organizing maintenance operations and teams
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school facility management preferred
- Valid Water and Pool operations Certifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
