Express Employment Professionals in the city of Downey is currently seeking an INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC for our client in the city of South Gate.

Hourly Pay: Starting at $27.00 - $32.00 an hour + (DOE)

Schedule: 1ST 4:00AM - 4:00PM

DUTIES:

• Move objects such as motors, pumps welding equipment and others as needed to maintain and repair production equipment
• Able to perform BOTH mechanical & electrical repairs
• Able to troubleshoot machinery & equipment in order to identify defect, then order/request necessary parts and perform repairs on motors, pumps, shafts, bearings, cylinders, valves, pneumatics & hydraulics on production equipment throughout the plant.
• Work with production and their schedule to ensure timely repair of equipment..
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings

EXPERIENCE:

• Basic computer familiarity, Good organization skills
• Experience with layout and fabrication work.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform welding, pipe fitting, and millwright techniques.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints
• Minimum 5 yrs of Experience
