MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Specialty glass container company has a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to join their team! Company offers excellent benefits package as well as a very friendly work environment and growth potential!
HOURS: Monday 2am to 12pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4am to 2pm. Fridays, may be an overtime day if you like extra $$$
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To ensure the equipment is in safe operating condition by fulfilling all daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules. Observe all functions and conditions of all machines, parts, building, grounds, and herein for repairs, unscheduled maintenance and/or replacement.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
Safety Glasses/Side Shields when entering the plant and any other safety equipment required when welding, using cutting torches, doing any electrical work, and when in a confined space area-etc.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic knowledge mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance is being performed daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly on equipment.
- Inform Maintenance Manager of any major equipment problems.
- Follow instructions given by Lead Maintenance or Supervisor, including when working in a confined Space area.
- Coordinate/assist with movement and assembly of machines and conveyors etc., when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines and policies.
- Any jobs, task, responsibilities assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Must be able to work: Sunday into Monday 2am to 12pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4am to 2pm. Fridays, may be an overtime day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Williamstown, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Facilities maintenance: 3 years (Required)
