What the position is:
The Maintenance Non-Technical Instructor is responsible for the development and delivery of courses required by the Maintenance Training Manual (MTM) and supporting the overall training needs of the Maintenance Department. The position involves coordinating new hire training and ongoing employee training to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Essential functions:
- Accountable for Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities as described in the Company's SMS Manual and Title 14 CFR Part 5.23.
- Develop and conduct courses as required by the MTM.
- Coordinate with HR, Travel, Security, and Safety departments to support new hire travel coordination, Indoc training, and other training requirements.
- Deliver Day 1-3 Indoc (Non-Technical) training course and support new hire set up for e-mail, AMOS, and computer-based training platform.
- Support C5U web-based training by uploading and reviewing all courses for quality and presentation.
- Create and maintain maintenance personnel training records and documentation for each company and vendor contracted course.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Training Instructor to set up course schedules with department managers to comply with employee training requirements.
- Manage the apprenticeship program in coordination with the Recruiting and Finance Departments.
- Collect and analyze data to ensure compliance with employee gap analysis and recurrency requirements.
- Post the RII Inspector list for company distribution each month and update information for contractor(s) having “essential maintenance” classification.
- Produce reports as directed by the Maintenance Training Manager in preparation for the monthly CASS report.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Maintenance Training Manager.
- Previous classroom or equivalent training experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite required; Adobe and other course development software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Read, write, and speak the English language.
- Hold a valid state issued driver's license.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Airframe and Powerplant License not required
