Job Description

The basic responsibility of this position is to coordinate and ensure efficient execution of the maintenance management system and processes. Manages the day-to-day execution of scheduled and unscheduled routine work with focus on continuous improvement – “plan, do, audit, adjust plan”. This includes creating and managing KPI’s to audit the day-to-day execution of scheduled and unscheduled work by central maintenance.

Other duties include but not limited to:
  • Day to day execution with focus on
  • HSE – work permits, hazard identification and mitigation
  • Re-allocation of resources across site where priorities dictate
  • Saturates contractors with opportunity work
  • Single point contact for maintenance central services – break ins, outside services, urgent or emergency work after hours, etc. (I&E supervisors are single point for their areas)
  • Secures and allocates maintenance resources for urgent and afterhours emergency work – TotalEnergies and contract employees
  • Serves as Champion for the maintenance section of the site management system
  • Maintenance Training Coordination Owner: TotalEnergies I&E, All crafts
  • Maintenance Procedures Owner (Manages procedures database and improvement plan)

Context and environment

Position reports to the Maintenance Manager and has 3 TotalEnergies direct reports (Instrumentation Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor and E/I Planner/Scheduler). Nested maintenance and I&E contractors also report to the position.

Candidate profile

This position requires either a B. S. in Engineering plus a minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial processes or a High School education with 10+ years of industrial process experience and working knowledge of maintenance systems. (Coordination, Planning, Scheduling, and Execution)

Other: Significant (or 1-2 years site experience) with SAP (WO’s + Purchase to Pay), Excel, PowerPoint, reading P&IDs, equipment files, plant equipment specifications and MOCs. Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, compressors, exchangers, turbomachinery, boilers, heaters, motors, MCCs and instrumentation.
