Maintenance Supervisor!

Summary – Filterbuy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our New Kensington facility. To ensure success, the maintenance supervisor should display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and management staff.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
• Employ, supervise, and train workers.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
• Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensured proper storage.
• Comply with all safety regulations and practices on site.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
• Plan and execute special projects as needed.

• Two years of experience in facilities and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building trades and maintenance background.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Experience with Forklift, Scissor lift, Pallet Jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour DOL card.

Physical Demands: Sites contain various safety hazards associated with manufacturing. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project work at night and on weekends as needed.
