Kane Realty is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor position for the North Hills District, its mixed use, flagship property located Raleigh, NC area.

The Supervisor is a key member of the customer service team, and must exercise exceptional customer care skills in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and level of professionalism with tenants and fellow team members. The Supervisor will work closely with technicians to ensure we meet all local regulations, code, safety standards, site appearance standards, and ensure each site is properly maintained. Supervisors are accountable for the completion and documentation of routine and emergency service requests. Supervisors will oversee and assist techs in diagnosing problems and make repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, landscaping, HVAC, and other general maintenance requests. Supervisors must ensure that work is completed accurately and assist the maintenance manager with oversight and delegation of day to day operations.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform duties and tasks as described on Workspeed, and YARDI Work Order Systems.
- Routine maintenance tasks.
- General Facility Maintenance.
- Snow removal.
- 24 hour On-Call Responsibilities may be necessary.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- This position requires occasionally exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Delegation of Day to day operations.
- Ensure Crucial Walks are being done.
- Ensuring Project tracker and calendar is being followed.
- Billing and work order completion.
Job Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing repairs, carpentry skills, HVAC.
- Computer proficiency is preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and technical skills.
Qualifications
- Education - high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Years of experience - minimum of 5-year experience as a service technician and/or comparable combined education/experience in the property management industry.
- CPO Certification a plus.
- Experience with performing preventative maintenance on different types of equipment.
- Ability to complete computer generated work order forms.
- Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
