Job description
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Tech for a company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for preventative maintenance and electrical maintenance of machinery, other duties as assigned.Pay Rate
$26 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some Saturdays and on-call when needed.
Maintenance Tech Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, blowers, conveyors, air locks and lubrication.
- Analyze and solve electro/mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records and ordering of parts.
- Ability to work on Automated packaging equipment, gear box, brackets, rollers and conveyor belts.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of AC motors and VFD’s.
- Use of electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting.
- Required to have own tools.
- Lifting ability up to 75 pounds. (assessment will be administered in office)
