The Deli Source, a cheese conversion and packing company, located in Antioch, IL, is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic. Hours are generally 3pm to 1am.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Diagnose and repair problems with food industry mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

· Trouble shoot and repair hydraulics, and basic electrical problems.

· Perform various mechanical tasks including, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, machine set-up, component repairs, equipment overhauls and changeovers.

· Provide a high level of troubleshooting ability to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

· Ideal candidate would have CAD, and PLC experience.

Refrigerated Manufacturing Environment

Work Location:

May work at either our Antioch IL or Kenosha WI loctations

Requirements:

· At least 3-4 years of previous trouble shooting experience and maintenance repair experience.

· Experience in mechanical and material handling systems or a combination of training and or certification working with these systems.

· Ability to provide service on an emergency basis, including overtime, weekends, and during plant shut downs.

· Ability to work independently and closely with production and quality groups to resolve issues.

· Proven experience and proficient hands-on electrical knowledge and material handling equipment.

· Must be able to weld and braze.

· Experience with conveyor systems.

· Adapt and accept changes based on production demands and schedules (may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling).

· Good attendance is required.

· Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.

· Ability to walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, restriction.

· Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and vendors.

Pay $25 - $30 per hour. There is also a $3 per hour attendance bonus if you have perfect attendance each week.
