Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca, PA is looking for a Maintenance Technician.

The successful candidate will report to and assist the Mall Operations Manager in the general up keeping of the property, and in preventative maintenance and/or repairs of Mall facilities, machinery and equipment, as needed. Under the guidance and supervision of the Operations Manager, duties will include:

Responsibilities:

• Safety checks and maintenance of mechanical equipment, light machinery and/or small engines.
• Providing maintenance and assuring cleanliness of parking lot, roadways and sidewalks.
• Minor electrical system maintenance and repairs.
• Structural repairs and painting of interior and exterior walls, ceilings, floors and doors, as needed.
• Responding and attending to mall and tenant needs of repairs of roof leaks, plumbing, electrical issues, and other similar problems.
• Snow and ice removal, when needed.
• Setting up and removal of promotional materials, decorations and sets for events.
• Grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Coordination with external service vendors and contractors.
• Use and care of tools, spare parts, cleaning supplies and other materials that may be needed to carry out all the above duties.

Skills:

• Physical condition to perform routine and/or heavy manual tasks.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. in weight.
• Ability to safely use standard maintenance equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use ladders and scissor lifts to reach high work areas, including building rooftops.
• Ability to legally drive company-owned vehicles, with acceptable insurability.
• Willingness to work all mall hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays, as needed.
• Willingness to work at least 40 hours weekly, and be on-call for emergencies during off-days.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Proven work experience in facilities management, maintenance, construction or related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.

• Weekend availability
