Responsibilities:
Work independently on established preventive maintenance procedures and be responsible for making all adjustments and repairs as required.
Make plant repairs and perform maintenance in a timely manner to ensure continuous operations.
Professionally trains and leads other’s in proper and safe work techniques.
Prepare and maintain written documentation as required by function.
Follow all applicable safety regulations and procedures.
To work with plant management and plant employees in a professional manner.
Perform general and/or specific duties requested by the Maintenance Manager or plant management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires high school diploma or equivalency.
Must have 5 plus years related work experience on industrial or mobile equipment.
Should have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft office)
Must have current and valid FL Drivers’ License with good driving
record as outlined in company policy.
Must have 5 years plus related work experience in welding and fabrication.
Must have 5 years plus related work experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplishment goals.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
In addition to demonstrating proficiency in performing all duties of a Mobile Maintenance
mechanic the Maintenance Mechanic will maintain documented periodic training.
- Work Environment:
Subject to all weather conditions.
Required to perform work at various heights.
Exposure to vibrations, loud noises and dust.
Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently while carrying load up to 50 feet.
Will be required to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to climb, stoop, bend, and work in awkward positions such as reclining to fit under machinery or vehicles.
Shift: 7AM-5PM (schedule subject to change)
