Job Summary:Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and work where you have fun! You'll get to safely maintain pool chemicals balance, perform building and infrastructure repairs, facility inspections, maintenance of water attractions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot waterpark attractions to ensure their safe and efficient operation with minimum supervision.
• Repair of buildings, structures, signs, furniture, and miscellaneous items to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure that all pools are chemically balanced for operation according to codes and standards set by the Ocean County and Jackson Township Health Departments and park management.
• Ensure that the specifications set by ride manufacturers and the State of New Jersey are complied with and documented.
• Conduct thorough pre-opening inspections of all pools and slide structures in the waterpark, notifying appropriate management of any and all hazards that may endanger our guests or employees.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, and keep all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed.
• Ensure specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and state regulations are complied with and documented appropriately.
• Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible and organized.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of related experience and be able to work well in team environment.
• Valid Certified Pool Operator or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of fiberglass, pool chemical balancing, and water attractions. Must have the ability to use these skills with pre-established guidelines to ensure the safe and efficient condition of all buildings, ride/slide structures, signs, and other park facilities.
• Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers, and park management in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles.
• Must possess strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of devices.
• Requires continuous sitting, standing, bending, hand/eye coordination, near vision, hearing and speech. Requires frequent walking, lifting, kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills and color definition.
• Requires using a telephone/radio.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day
• Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs consistently
