The Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager and works to ensure apartment units and facilities are in good working order and maintained to standards for the Company.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

1. Perform service requests to the satisfaction of residents, including A/C, plumbing, electrical, appliance, etc. repairs.

2. Prepare units for new residents including painting, repairs, etc.

3. Prompt and courteous responses to service requests.

4. Maintain grounds.

5. Promote safe environment for staff and residents.

6. Property appearance which meets or exceeds standards.

As a property team member on-site, the successful candidate will embody and work to reinforce the Company's Core Values throughout all aspects of the Company.

Works on-call as required by the Company's 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.

Required Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years experience as a Maintenance Technician at a Rental Community.

2. Must be able to work weekends and rotate on call.

3. A positive customer service attitude.

4. Strong communication skills.

5. Well experienced plumbing, electrical, repair and other maintenance skills.

6. HVAC Certification.

7. Must have reliable transportation, preferably a truck or van.

8. Must have own tools.

9. Will be required to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

10. Smoke Free environment

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Thorough knowledge of heating and air conditioning unit repair and maintenance.

2. General knowledge of the repair and maintenance of other household appliances, lighting fixtures, and plumbing.

3. Knowledge and skills to operate common and specialized tools for repairs and maintenance.

4. Ability to visually inspect units, grounds, and other aspects of the property to determine adherence to standards.

Compensation:

1. ($20 - $25) Hourly rate (Based on experience, rate will be adjusted accordingly).
