Job Summary: This position will be responsible for providing maintenance of the Surf Club III building and grounds.

The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for the upkeep of the Surf Club III building and grounds including but not limited to custodial work, carpentry, landscaping and other maintenance related activities. This position will work with the maintenance team under the direction of the Community Association Manager (CAM).

Job Duties:

• Complete maintenance activities to ensure the building is properly maintained.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Team Members and CAM for maintenance issues that need to be resolved.
• Identify areas for improvement and alert CAM
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when necessary.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs such as (carpentry, general labor, etc.)

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience
• Technical skills and an overall understanding of building maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning, cleaning, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Must have a Driver’s license and must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Must be able stand and work for 6-8 hours on a daily basis
• Candidates will be required to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
