WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Manager of FP&A will serve as a key member of the CPI Finance leadership team and have responsibility for accurate, timely, transparent financial planning, forecasting and analysis for $1b global business. This role will also provide leadership to the financial planning and analysis activities, implement planning and budgeting in a manner designed to meet reporting requirements, provide timely, meaningful reporting of the business units within CPI.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee and lead the development of “One Standard Process” across all businesses for budget templates, creating forecast review templates and consolidating those review templates, ensure HC matches budgets, reviewing entity submissions for errors and completeness (i.e. all Stats, Standard Costs as submitted by Sales)
  • Lead process and timely completion of President’s Monthly Performance Report
  • Perform Mix/FX analysis for Core Business; developing and consolidated weekly/monthly/quarterly actual and forecast analysis and commentary, and if one-timers occur, understanding why the occurred and how to fix the process
  • Analyze complex reports, from multiple sources and ERP systems, and understand which to utilize, and how to interpret multiple reports and provide a consolidated forecast and commentary to variances vs prior week, plan and forecasts
  • Be a Business Partner for Enterprise data warehouse IT Project in 2022, to develop consolidated reporting packages across multiple ERP systems for Sales and Costs.
  • Analyze and understand the key drivers of the following areas; (Operating Profit, Cash, Capex, Working Capital, ROIC) including the effects of volume, pricing, cost reductions, etc.)

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Finance professional with 7-10 years’ experience in a variety of finance leadership positions.
  • Experience with U.S. multi-national public company, ideally $1+Billion annual revenue with a global manufacturing firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree, MBA preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop finance team.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with both local and executive management; ability to collaborate and communicate with others.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing regularly with professionals at all levels of the organization, from manufacturing floor to senior executive office.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
  • Advanced Data mining skills – experience utilizing ERP system (SAP, QAD, M2K), HFM, PowerBI, Qlik, or other financial analytical tools.
