Job Summary

The Human Resource Manager will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. This role may support various client groups, business, and HR initiatives to help the business successfully achieve objectives. They will not only maintain but enhance the organizations business objectives by effectively partnering on talent Management, organizational health, and leadership development.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, succession planning and organizational health.
  • Provides support and guidance to business partners and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • Participate and consult on the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for leadership and key positions; collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Partners with business managers to develop and drive a people agenda that optimizes talent, structure, processes and culture in support of delivering the business plan
  • Advises and counsels managers on matters related to identifying and attracting key talent, developing succession plans, utilizing recognition and rewards, and helping managers drive performance improvement and career growth within their teams.
  • Reinforce the organization’s diversity initiatives and strategy to attract, hire, and retain a diverse workplace. Recommend and execute creative strategies to foster the organization’s diversity goals.
  • Work effectively with all levels of the organization as well as partner well with other functional groups both within and outside the HR Organization. Delivers high quality HR processes through partnership with HR colleagues in Compensation, Talent Management and Acquisition, Benefits and HR Services
  • Analyzes data and trends to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and understanding of proposed state and federal laws/regulations that affect the organization.
  • Partners heavily with regional and HQ partners on initiatives, providing leaders, influence, guidance, and alignment to help create a One Comcast approach.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

Pay Range: $96,273.05 - $144,409.58

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
