Job description
Spectrum Brands’ global enabling functions, including Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations, provide enterprise-wide strategy, structure, and common processes to deliver the knowledge and expertise that helps our businesses grow. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete the monthly journal entries and the accounting close process for the Noblesville facility.
- Prepare and present financial performance of the facility to site leadership team.
- SAP S4 HANA super user and finance lead for Noblesville pilot.
- Develop the annual operating plan (AOP) for the Noblesville facility.
- Develop the Other Cost of Sales AOP for the Global Pet Care (GPC) division.
- Plan and coordinate the annual standard cost setting process for the Noblesville plant.
- Review, analyze, and roll costs for all new products at the Noblesville plant as needed.
- Analyze Purchase Price Variances and Purchase Order Variance.
- Review and analyze plant activity, including labor and materials.
- Analyze Inventory and Scrap
- Review Inventory adjustments and cycle count results.
- Facilitate excess and obsolete review and disposals.
- Review and assist with Capital Asset Requests projects closures and asset disposals.
- Maintain and provide EHS metrics.
- Be an active participant of the Noblesville Leadership team and the financial business partner for the Noblesville Manufacturing facility.
- Model the SPB 20/20 vision, focus, and clarity.

- Assist and communicate with internal and external auditors.
Education and Experience Profile
An equivalent combination of:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely with a team of accounting and operations professionals.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SAP is highly desired
- Requires refined organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Focus and drive towards industry leadership and best practices
- High degree of integrity and work ethics
Work Environment
Working conditions: Both an office and a manufacturing environment.
Travel requirements: As necessary.
