POSITION-SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage team for Data verification processing who handle mail operations, predet authorization entry, check reconciliation with remittance advice, depositing, and scanning/OCR (Optical character recognition)
Manage EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) enrollment team that partner with insurance companies that participate with electronic data files for EFT payments and ERA (electronic remittance advice)
Analyze opportunities for improvements within reconciliation application for OCR process
Ensure processes are in place for balancing ICL (Image cash letter) and EDI files daily/weekly to reduce gaps
Implement appropriate strategies for motivating team members to enhance processes.
Evaluates and provides updates to direct reports progress; works collaboratively with direct reports to identify and implement solutions to individual and team performance when necessary.
Partners with PSC teams to resolve issues related to Reconciliation and EDI processing.
Other tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Specializes in performing tasks and assignments related to the functional area’s delivery of service, quality and or productivity.
Can be a point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries.
Uses software and company systems to source, obtain, process, audit and analyze standard data reporting and presenting.
Plans, organizes and executes tasks and activities with urgency and in accordance with delegated assignments.
Responds to and resolves issues related to position and seeks guidance for non-routine inquiries.
Informs leadership of trends and escalating concerns related to tasks and assignments.
Meet position related productivity and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level: Associates Degree or Healthcare Certification Preferred
Job Related/Industry Experience: 5 years or more
Leadership experience preferred.
Self-motivated individual with leadership qualities and strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving/analysis collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
