Job Title: Manager, Strategic Supplier Management

Job Summary
The Manager, Strategic Supplier Management creates and administers a standardized and repeatable process for managing suppliers.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for development, implementation, and administration of the supplier management program
- Maintains program processes, templates and tools to assure consistent quality
- Develops, updates the segmentation of suppliers into defined groups and sets expectations for the management of each type of supplier, including engagement cadence
- Recommends points of contact in the business to own the supplier relationship and provides relationship owners with resources, guidance, and advice on procurement best practices
- Oversees business management of suppliers, including attending key supplier meetings (e.g. QBRs) and handling escalations
- Maintains a governance structure for the program, driving adoption and monitoring compliance
- Administers the Supplier Risk Management Program
Required Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, IT or related field
- Minimum 5 years procurement or strategic buying experience
- Minimum 2 years working directly as part of a supplier management function
- Strong knowledge of supplier management best practices and ability to partner with business/supplier stakeholders
- Demonstrated strength in partnering with and influencing business leadership with varying priorities
- Executive presence, confidence, and presentation skills to communicate a value proposition to a wide range of levels.
Preferred Qualifications for Position
- Master's Business Administration and/or Certified Professional Supply Management
- Minimum 7 years of procurement or strategic buying experience
