The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the daily administration and supervision of all activities related to the Distribution Center.
This position will serve our Raypak Division, located in Oxnard Ca
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Monitors and develops all warehouse departments such as receiving, shipping, order picking, inventory, and kit pack.
Determines daily plan and order assignments.
Monitors and ensures optimal resources utilization within the warehouse.
Continually monitors and adjusts product pathing for the most efficient picking routes.
Works closely with company buyers to ensure products conform to intended standards. Responsible for ongoing quality standards and quality audits.
Ensures all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced in accordance to equipment specifications.
Maintains and updates Warehouse Management System (WMS) as required.
Provides direct supervision over warehouse staff.
Provides performance feedback, coaching and mentoring.
- IT support for printers and computers
- Oversee 3PL warehouses
- Ensure all maintenance is completed on building repairs and yearly inspections required
- Provide GL codes to accounting on monthly bills
- Determine on concealed damages if should be worthy of returns
WHAT YOU NEED
- Business Management or related field.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- Experience in warehouse operations.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information and inventory reports.
- Experience with warehouse management software programs preferred.
