Hours for this position are 6pm to 6am (2-2-3 shift pattern).

The main responsibility of this job is to oversee the operation of the bottle filler and capper, decasing process, and/or case packing operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety regulations.

  • Manage, change parts, set up and maintain the equipment.

  • Report any safety issues, accidents or near misses.

  • Participate in the plant's behavior-based safety program.

  • Keep the workplace neat and free of debris.

  • Understand and follow established standards.

  • Ensure the Bottling Department meets its daily production goals.

  • Carry out equipment changeovers.

  • Create the Standard Operating Procedure for the bottling line positions.

  • Perform tasks according to standards.

  • Seek ways to improve performance and quality.

  • Incorporate daily maintenance tasks such as inspection, lubrication, and equipment setup into the routine.

  • Create a personal development plan with the Bottling Supervisor.

  • Develop the skills needed to reach the desired career path within the organization.

  • Continually look for ways to improve performance as measured by departmental Key Performance Indicators.

  • Understand and comply with all SOPs and best practices to guarantee maximum quality standards for bottling lines and customer service.

  • Generate ideas to enhance daily operation of bottling processes.

  • Maximize available resources to continually improve quality inspections, labeling and general machine operation.

  • Successfully communicate across departments.

  • Meet financial objectives by controlling cost and waste.

  • Model behavior in line with the Sazerac Ideal Team Member Profile.

  • Develop and maintain solid professional working relationships within and outside the company.

  • Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with company values.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Capable of picking up and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Good physical health. For example; capable of working on your feet, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and squatting.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

  • Good vision and manual dexterity.

  • Proficiency in operating Industrial equipment as needed.

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed

Preferred:

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization

  • 2 years relevant experience (minimum)

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment

You must be proficient in:

  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • Meets Physical Requirements
  • High School / GED
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
